Bilingual Program
The 5 year bilingual curriculum consists of an intense language program. It is based upon up-to date teaching curriculum and standards issued by the Slovak Ministry of Education. Students are prepared for university and college studies, both home and abroad.

The High School study is completed by the official Slovak school leaving exams (Maturita exams): in their Senior year from Slovak Language, in the Super Senior year from English Language and two electives.

Freshmen
Freshmen undergo an intense language program consisting of 17 English lessons a week in smaller learning groups. The intense English preparation creates conditions for effective work within the bilingual curriculum in the upper grades.

First year students have 31 lessons per week altogether. This number includes
17 lessons of English language (Course Book, Grammar, Conversation, Literature and Writing, American and British Studies, Intro to History, Intro to Science, Global Studies).

Students´ English proficiency level is tested before the beginning of the school year (Placement Test). Based on the test results, they are divided into four proficiency groups (A,B,C,D). Every group has its own learning program adapted to the students´ needs.

The freshmen year prepares the ground for the successful study of subjects of general education taught in English in the upper grades.

Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors
The English program for Sophomores and Juniors is reduced to 5 to 7 lessons per week (Course Book, Literature, Writing Lab, Global Studies, Presentations, Public Speaking).

We also provide some subject areas taught in English – Math, Biology, Geography, History, Chemistry, Computer Science, Religion ant Ethics.

Super Seniors
Being the state exams or the so called Maturita year, the senior year represents the climax of our program rounded off by both: the Maturita Exam and the State Exam.
