On Saturday, April 14, 2012, a great spring clean-up took place at our school. Approximately 90 people participated in it- parents, students and employees of both schools. Our neighbors from the vicinity joined us together with Mr. M. Rados, MP. We focused mainly on cleaning up the area around the school after the winter- we collected more than 50 big bags of trash. Another important activity was the cleaning of the running track off weed, which was pre-processed by our school master before. The whole track is 205 meters long and is at some places almost 8 meters wide. At first we thought it would not be a big deal, but thanks to our great enthusiasm we managed to finish it. We also dug out the foundations for a trash container, pruned some bushes and trees. The atmosphere was great during the whole- this was also due to the nice weather and a tasteful goulash which was served in the school cafeteria.
